These days, it’s hard to not know someone or even be someone who cancer has touched. My husband is a cancer survivor; my sister is a cancer survivor; my sweet Grandma Alice fought the good fight three times before the cancer took her. If you want to fight back, join the American Cancer Society and get involved with their “Relay for Life” this Friday and Saturday in any way you can. Donate, volunteer or just show up to cheer on the teams, survivors and loved ones of those lost to this horrible disease. Visit www.relayforlife.org/abilenetx for more information or give the local office here a call at 325-672-0994.
