I tease my mother that she is still a hippie, flower power child of the 60’s. She only smiles upon receiving my subtle jabs, so I think it’s safe to assume obviously she agrees with my assessment. Well, this Friday she can reunite with other free spirits by heading down to the Center for Contemporary Art from 6 pm to 8 pm to enjoy the best of Woodstock, the hippie dippy ‘60’s and more with the “Off Your Rocker” exhibit opening. Enjoy works from Terri Knight, Billy Blair, Patty Rae Wellborn and even a special mystery guest to be revealed at the reception! The cost is free. Start your weekend off with a uniquely Abilene experience! Call 325-677-8389 for more information.
