The 10th Annual “Fashions for the Cure” will catwalk into the Abilene Civic Center tomorrow night at 7 pm. Casa Authentique and Yanell Rider will present the best of fashion in this girly gala, which benefits Cancer Services Network, CSN. The mission of CSN in to provide hope and help for cancer patients, survivors, their families and caregivers through direct financial assistance, educational programs and emotional support in 19 counties in West Central Texas. Enjoy an evening of fashion fun and know you are making an impact to helping those that struggle with this horrible disease in our very one own community. The Regional Victims Crisis Center’s 7th Annual Men of Strength & Style will not only highlight new trends, but also honors men in our community who use their strength for good; men who are of good character and positive role models foryoung people in our community. This luncheon, held Wednesday from 11:30-1 pm in the Hunter Welcome Center at ACU, helps fund the RVCC, which works to assist victims and survivors of violent crime and prevent violence.
