I love how the Abilene Public Library always offers a variety of kiddo-friendly activities throughout the week. This Tuesday night is no different. From 6:30 to 7:30 pm join the staff in the main library auditorium to decorate sugar skulls for a sweet (pun intended) Halloween craft. The cost? Free! Call 325-677-2474 with questions.

When you’ve finished your activity and you’re still downtown, why not head to another family friendly event? The Abilene Community Band will perform their Fall Concert at the Paramount from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Enjoy local talent at its finest with this live musical event for music lovers of all kinds.  The cost is free, but donations will be accepted to benefit the Joe Stephens Abilene Community Endowment Fund. Call 325-672-6383 to learn more.

The Vienna Boys Choir, one of the most famous choirs in the entire world, will perform Tuesday night in the Abilene Civic Center. The Vienna Boys Choir began in 1498 (yes you read that right) and is currently under the direction of Gerald Wirth. Right now the 100 member choir is broken up into 4 touring choirs and you have the opportunity to hear them in our own backyard. What an honor to have this legendary group here! Ticket prices vary.
