The Fourth of July is one of our favorite days to celebrate with family and friends! The day is filled with festivities of all kinds; from swimming, to cook-outs, to fireworks. How about adding a family friendly parade “frontier” style in to the mix?

Buffalo Gap Historic Village is hosting their annual Frontier Fourth Celebration, kicking off with a community parade. Following the parade begins the ceremony at the Village!  You will witness the reading of the Declaration of Independence, singing of the National Anthem by Memory Men, and the 50 States Roll Call.

A fun-filled morning of family activities, games, and music follow the ceremony.

Start your celebration early, and you will still have a full afternoon to prepare for the evening’s festivities! Have a safe and happy holiday, and we hope to see you there!

Buffalo Gap Historic Village: 133 North William Street

Parade begins at 8:30 a.m.

Festivities go until 1:00 p.m.
