USTA will generate $5.5 Million into Abilene over next 3 years!

The Abilene Tennis Association, the Abilene Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Abilene Sports Alliance have partnered to play host the Championship Masters (12s),Championship Masters (14s–18s) and the Grand Slam Selection Champions for the next three years! The economic impact over the next three years will bring $5.5 million into Abilene! Thank you to everyone who has made this bid possible! #visitabilene

City Sidewalks Parade 2016

Join us in Downtown Abilene tomorrow night, November 29th from 5-8 pm for the annual City Sidewalks & Coca Cola Fox 15 Christmas Lights Parade! Sponsored by the Abilene Downtown Association. Rediscover the charm of Christmas in downtown as merchants, museums and galleries open their doors for an evening of holiday cheer! Activities include a Fox 15 Abilene Christmas Lights parade, community tree, performances by Abilene Independent School District students and free goodies.

City Sidewalks: 5 – 8 p.m.
Parade: 6:30 p.m.
Tree lighting: 7:30 p.m.

Family Fun Saturday!

Head to the National Center for Children’s Illustrated Literature this afternoon from 1-4 for a Family Fun Saturday! A come-and-go family program offered by our art educators who will help you and your little ones create a work of art using the style and medium of the featured artist in the gallery. Emphasis is on having fun while picking up valuable knowledge.

Craft Fair 2016

Just a friendly reminder that the Fall 2016 People Party Craft Fair is this Saturday, November 19th at 357 Walnut St.
Abilene, TX 79601 from 10 am – 10 pm! 50+ vendors, food trucks, live music and drinks served by The Warehouse. Featuring an array of handcrafted items such as jewelry, handmade soaps, screen printed graphic tees, home decor, woodwork and more. You don’t want to miss this!

Nutcracker 2016

Don’t miss out on one of Abilene’s favorites of all time, The Nutcracker! This 29th annual, full length classic ballet, is complete with fabulous sets, drops, costumes and guest artists. A local cast of 120 dancers perform this beautiful presentation. ABT is a nonprofit, a member of Regional Dance America/Southwest and Abilene’s only regional ballet company.

The Nutcracker will be held at the Historic Paramount Theatre Friday, November 18th – Sunday, November 20th!

2016 Suez Shrine Circus
